Cozy, comfortable recently renovated three bedroom, two bath bungalow located in historic Thomaston a block to down town. Take a stroll around town following the Museum in the Streets and learn about the old, historic homes. Centrally located with short commute to Rockland, Camden, Rockport, Owls Head. Close to state parks, lighthouses, beaches, shopping, dining, antique shops, boating, lakes, fishing, museums, festivals, local concerts and events. Designed for couples or small families. Recently renovated interior and exterior, with a bedroom, bath, kitchen, dining room, living room on the first floor. Two bedrooms, child's nook, bathroom on the second level. Comfortable front porches, private rear deck overlooking back yard.

The host added a lot of extra touches like chocolate, bathroom. The host added a lot of extra touches like chocolates, bathroom supplies( soap, shampoo, toothpaste etc.). Everything worked as expected. Beds were very comfortable. Shower was nice. Location is good for visiting local towns and it was quiet. We enjoyed the stay and would recommend it to others touring the area.

Cozy well appointed home. Would definitely stay here again if we come back to Maine. Close to Camden, Rockland& Rockport. Took Patricia’s recommendation of Moody’s and food was great for dinner and breakfast. The coconut Pie was delicious . We also cooked several meals at home. Walking distance to town. Safe beautiful area.

This home is warm, well supplied and comfortable. The guidebook and information provided were excellent! We poured over it for our activities each day—one of the best we have encountered in many Airbnb stays. We ate at several local restaurants that were recommended and found them all excellent. We found our way around the area easily with the helpful maps she provided. A lovely, relaxing stay!

I have lived on the coast of Maine my entire life. I grew up in Owls Head, ran barefoot on the rocky and sandy beaches, played around the lighthouse, picked wild strawberries, blueberries, raspberries and blackberries, rode horses through the fields and woods, fished off a wharf, rowed to the islands and ate plenty of clams and lobster. It was a magical childhood. After college I married and we moved to Thomaston to raise our children. For twenty years I was the children's librarian at a local school. My husband established his own successful real estate appraisal business. We both had an interest in local history and the 200 year old homes in the area.
