A gorgeous, well-equipped cottage in a beautiful village. Stanton Moor is within easy walking distance and makes for a great morning hike, which we followed up by lunch in the village pub - The Flying Childers - which was fantastic. All in all, a highly recommended spot for a weekend (or longer) away.

Lovely cottage in a beautiful part of the world. Family of 6 were very comfortable. Stairs to the top floor are quite steep but my elderly parents were fine getting up to the first floor. Claire was brilliantly responsive when I messaged with any questions. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

Lovely location and cosy cottage, close to Bakewell and Matlock and ideal for a base to explore this area.

We had a lovely stay in April. The cottage is located in a fantastic place to explore the Peaks, especially Bakewell that's just 10 minutes away. The photos are accurate and the cottage was plenty big enough for 5 adults. It was nice to go somewhere where we could all fit on the sofa and around the dining table. The cottage is equipped well and the parking off-road was fine - around a 30 second walk up the hill. One thing to note is we had to schedule showers as if the first floor shower or bath was on, then the top floor shower would completely cut out meaning only one person could shower at a time.
