Thank you Christian for your amazing help during our stay… with the coffee machine, with unpacking our Tesco delivery and just being a thoroughly helpful host. We stayed at Rebecca and Christian’s apartment as a family of 5 (2 adults, 3 kids) in March 2024. The apartment is right in Strangford, which is an attractive seaside village. We easily filled 3 days with visits to Portaferry (incl the Exploris Aquarium which the kids loved) via the short ferry, Castle Ward, walks in the harbour area and meals in local eateries. The accommodation was exactly as advertised and Rebecca and Christian were very helpful and accommodating hosts, who were very proactive in their communications and quickly responded to any queries. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing short break with plenty for everyone.

We stayed for two nights in February. 4 adults and 3 children aged 4,10 & 13 From booking to checkout, communication from the host was great. I felt I could ask them for anything if needed, although I didn’t need to as all instructions were clear and everything very straight forward. The place was exactly as I expected from the description. The apartment was very clean. Beds are comfortable. We had two collies with us and there is a large reception hall that was perfect as a boot room and for the dogs to eat and sleep. The town is beautiful with amenities like shops, restaurants and bars. A small wood behind the house is perfect for walking the dogs. The host sent a picture to show us exactly how to find it. That was very helpful!! A reasonable price for two families sharing. We had a great time and would recommend it.

We loved the basement flat to Strangford House as it was of great historicsl interest and has very tasteful renovations. It was comfortable for the 5 adults though could have had 3 adult couples. With great beds. The location was perfect as we needed no car and we were so close to the harbour and the Cuan where we had a delicious birthday meal. Also the Lobster pot and the ferry were as close the Cuan. Just great. We had a lovely family catch up. The equipment and fittings were good. All very tasteful.
