Absolutely loved our stay at Mellis barn. Lesley made us feel very welcome. The barn was spotlessly clean and very cosy. The garden was wonderful and perfect for our young labrador to play. The surroundings are so peaceful and relaxing.

Have just returned from a long Easter weekend at mellis barn. We had a lovely relaxing break, just what we all needed! The barn is very well maintained and we had milk and some Easter cakes on arrival which was lovely, oh and some doggy treats which went down well. The barn is very clean and well equipped and had everything we needed for our stay. The dog particularly enjoyed the large enclosed garden to run around in. Some nice walks on your door step and pubs are close by. We didn’t eat out ( as our dog is not keen on busy places ), but we used the fish and chips shop in Harleston and had a Chinese’s delivered which was great for us. I would not hesitate to return. Mellis Barn was just absolutely perfect for our needs. Such a peaceful & beautiful setting & the accommodation is immaculate & tastefully decorated. It is clear the hosts have thought about every detail to make your stay as comfortable as possible. We particularly enjoyed having the large secure garden for our dog, & being able to sit outside under the stars with the chiminea burning. There are also loads of lovely walks locally & great places to eat which are dog friendly. Lesley and Lorraine are such warm, friendly, helpful & responsive hosts. We will definitely be returning!

A great cottage in a beautiful surroundings. The place is really well renovated and immaculate with all equipments that you need. Lesley is a great host who was flexible and responsive. We definitely recommend if you visit the area.
