Prospect Lodge is a new (2020) luxury lodge on the gated Meadows Development at The Bay Filey. With 3 bedrooms and 3 ensuites, it's ideal for couples and families. All guests have free access to the onsite leisure complex - swimming pool, sauna, steam room and gym. Other activities available for a fee. Panoramic views across the meadows and towards the coast from the front deck. Dogs welcome too, but please discuss first (max 2). Wifi, smart TV, TVs in all bedrooms and other home comforts. Open plan lounge / dining / kitchen for family time. Then down the hall there are 3 bedrooms with their own ensuites. There's a twin room with ensuite bathroom with hand held shower attachment too if required. Then a double main bedroom with walk-in wet room shower, and a third bedroom with zip&link kingsize bed which can also be 2 small singles, with another walk-in shower room. All rooms have patio doors onto the decking to the front and rear. There's also an internal boiler room for handy storage, and a shower on the deck.

Really nice accommodation in a really nice area. The house was very warm without having any heating on so would be happy to stay all year round not just during the warmer months. Lots of outside seating areas with really nice furniture. We had a dog with us so having an open area to take the dog out morning and evening was great. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

The Bay is a popular holiday village close to the amazing Filey Beach. It has its own meadows with lakes and wildflowers, which is where Prospect Lodge is.
The Bay is a unique holiday village with a mix of around 500 apartments, beach houses, meadow lodges and brick-built cottages. In the village centre you will find a leisure complex (free pool, sauna, steam room, gym), beauty room, tennis court, pharmacy, cafe/pizzeria (planned opening May 2022), John Paul Jones Pub serving meals all day, arcade/family entertainment centre, and shop. There is also a craft room, archery range, boules courts, lakes, and playground on the complex. Parking is free to guests, and some properties have a dedicated driveway.
Guests can walk safely down to the beach (footpaths only) from the accommodation, or drive to nearby beaches in Filey, Bridlington, Flamborough and Scarborough.
The Bay is very child and dog-friendly, with onsite reception, maintenance and security staff. All gardens are communal and open.
All guests must follow the site rules when on The Bay - anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated.
