Our stay with Dawn in Windermere was in a beautifully appointed room with views of the distant mountains. Before our stay, Dawn send us recommendations for a local tour company and restaurants and had plenty to suggestions on arrival. There is free parking on the street and only a minute's walk to the picture perfect town. Buses were also close by. Small breaky provided in our room was just what we needed before heading out exploring the stunning area. Dawn was such a lovely, generous host and we hope to be back to stay again one day.

After a last minute booking, we were really pleased with what we got. Lovely room in a great location. Felt lovely and homely. The bed was really comfortable too

Fantastic room with everything we needed for our stay. The bed was so comfy! The little extras such as porridge were a much appreciated addition too. Dawn was a lovely host and on hand when needed. The information book in the room was really useful. On-street parking was never an issue and there were plenty of restaurants in walking distance. We'd definitely recommend heading to The Crafty Baa if you do stay. Thanks Dawn for making our stay so pleasent.

This listing is exactly as described. Dawn is very kind and communicative. Check in was smooth. The room is on the top floor, facing the street, and you never hear any sounds from the street at all. A little through the walls perhaps of the next door house but that’s to be expected. The location is simply perfect to walk anywhere in Windermere and down to Bowness as well. Bus stop at the end of the street is extremely convenient for solo travelers without cars. Wi-Fi is good as well, as I had to jump on a couple of calls mid-afternoon. 10 minute walk to the main train station. I’d definitely stay here again.

Exceptional stay at Broadlands Guest House! Our recent visit was perfect - complete privacy, immaculate room, and an unbeatable location with everything we needed nearby. I was celebrating my birthday and the added birthday surprise of balloons and a banner from Dawn made the experience even more memorable. Highly recommend and would definitely book again. Thank you!
