A newly renovated 2 bedroom cottage with private courtyard to the rear and riverside garden overlooking the River Wye. This impressive cottage sleeps four guests in two bedrooms with the spacious master bedroom and ensuite located on the ground floor and living area and twin bedroom on the first floor. At the rear of the cottage is an attractive courtyard with an outdoor table and chairs along with a parasol. A fully functioning kitchen with a dining space, it comes with all the amenities you’ll need for your stay including an electric oven and hob, toaster, fridge freezer, integrated dishwasher, washing machine, kettle, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine and high chair as well as a full range of cookware and utensils so guests can enjoy dining in. The large master bedroom includes a king sized bed, bedside tables, lamps, a wardrobe, dressing table and a mirror as well as a large ensuite bathroom with a toilet, wash basin and shower over bath. The courtyard is accessed through the french doors in the bedroom. All towels and linen are included as well as a travel cot. The stairs lead up to the main living space which boasts a stylish interior with views over the picturesque River Wye. The room has a large corner sofa perfect for relaxing as well as an armchair and footstool. There’s a smart TV and fast speed broadband so guests can sign into their own Netflix and Amazon Prime accounts. The second bedroom can be found on the first floor at the right of the living room. The bedroom has two single beds, perfect for children or adults, a wardrobe and a bean bag. The ensuite is equipped with a toilet, wash basin and walk in shower. Small children will require supervision on the open staircase. Well behaved pets are welcome at the cottage for an additional fee of £20.00. Please take care to protect the soft furnishings and keep pets off the bed. A BP garage and Spar is a 5 minute walk away. The cottage in Wilton is an ideal base to explore the surrounding areas. Good communication, lovely clean property in excellent location. And the sun shine!
Enjoyable stay. Downstairs was a bit chilly even with radiators on. Underfloor heating would be advantageous. Excellent location. Riverside views and a good pub a stone’s throw away.
A great cottage in a fantastic location, by the river and just 10 mins easy walk from town. Comfortable and reasonably priced accommodation and would highly recommend.
Lovely spacious accommodation, perfect for 2 couples as both bedrooms were en suite. 10 minute walk into town with lots of cafes and restaurants to choose from. Courtyard access was from the French doors in the main bedroom and was secure for our dog. The area was beautiful with lots of walks within a short drive. I would not hesitate to stay at Wilton Cottage again.

The cottage is located in the quiet picturesque village of Wilton. Across the lane in front of the cottage a river side garden overlooks the River Wye where you can enjoy picnics on the grass or take in the variety of wildlife and beautiful walks along the country roads.
A minutes walk from the cottage you’ll find The White Lion. A cosy traditional pub that offers a selection of home made food and real ales in a friendly relaxed atmosphere. The pub has a fantastic beer garden with views over the river, it really is a perfect setting on a summer evening. They also host a variety of live music every Saturday and Sunday. We recommend booking a table in advance.
The nearest convenient store and garage is a 5 minute walk away from the cottage.
Parking spaces can be find at the front of the cottage.
