Fee’s place was exactly as eccentric and well-designed as it looks in the photos, with lots of thoughtful details including extra blankets and interesting reading material like Angela Carter’s The Bloody Chamber. It was warm and cosy with the heater on, the bed was very comfortable and the shower was excellent. We also loved hanging out with Baby the cat, who was very sweet and sociable. However, she did wake us up in the early hours meowing to come in and out the cabin in typical cat fashion, so ear-plugs would be recommended! It was otherwise a very peaceful stay. There is free street parking outside and the location is really convenient, just next to the beautiful Tracey Emin (TKE) studios, and a short walk from the town centre. We also had a delicious Middle Eastern breakfast at the nearby Good Egg cafe. All in all, highly recommended.

We totally loved our stay. Fee is an incredible designer and the space felt really special, comfortable and private. It’s a real Margate gem. The location is excellent and so is the style. We look forward to coming back - thanks Fee!

We had a fabulous stay at The Captain’s Cabin. Rest assured, the pictures and description are exactly as we found the accommodation to be. If anything, the description undersold! There were so many thoughtful ‘extras’ from tea and cafetière coffee to fresh milk, soaps… We lacked nothing! The fridge is ideal for a short break, there’s a small combo oven, microwave, kettle (naturally), and enough cutlery, glassware and crockery for four (so you don’t have to wash up straight away)! All in all, a great stay and communications fro beginning to end. Highly recommended. We shall return (partially to pick up the corkscrew we left behind 🤦‍♂️)! Needn’t have bothered, there was one there any way!

Fee's cabin is lovely, private, and in a great location. Fee herself is friendly and responsive, and the place was spotless. highly recommend!

Great, well designed compact but luxurious cabin to stay in. Designed by Fee this place is a surprise to find in a back garden but is perfect for a weekend stay in Margate. Very thoughtful details make it a mini 5 star Margate bolthole.
