This place was magical, close to beaches, the rain forest and restaurants/shops but felt like we were in the middle of nowhere, which was exactly what we wanted. Private, peaceful and in beautiful surroundings. Lovely going to sleep listening to the sound of the river and the coquis, we even spotted a coqui on the tree house walkway. Would recommend to anyone.

Super unique location! Private river access!And an awesome tiny tree house. Host was communicative and friendly. I recommend to arrive in the day time because the walk way and house is very dark at night. The shower is outside and cold and we liked it that way just mentioning Incase others are wondering. 5 stars

I booked two nights for my family. We expected a camping type of experience, with running water. The area is beautiful, but this is not Airbnb ready. It was completely unsafe. No running water, couldn’t flush toilet or wash, dirty dishes left in the sink, used tampons and food in garbage, one mosquito net provided for a family of 3. I’ve been using AirBNB for 15 years and this is the only negative review I’ve ever left. We only stayed one night and I requested a refund for the second night. He initially agreed and then tried to contact me and sent me aggressive messages implying that I was lying. We had to drive up the road in the morning to use the toilet at the nearest fast food spot. I was being kind by not requesting a refund for the first night, but after seeing the cleaning fees attached, and how outrageous the price for such an awful experience, I think the least I can do is warn others. We paid the same amount for a lovely spot in old San Juan. This listing should be removed

Arrived the day after the first day as we were not able to get to the location as instructions were not clear enough. There were two treehouses next to each other, rented separately, I rented this unit for myself and a friend, the other unit adjacent to us was for the other folks traveling with us. we CONTINUOUSLY had to call the owner to help get the water to run clear, or to run at all. In addition, he came to the property early in the day on the 1st of April, and as he arrived he was a bit inappropriate with three of the guests that were staying at the property while I went to the store with one of the other guests, the guest who had the other Airbnb in her reservation. He insisted the women who were in their bikinis go on a hike on his property and he made suggestive comments frequently to one of the women in particular. He was more focused on showing off while we didn’t have any running water to shower, wash dishes, or even flush the toilet.
