Our stay was fantastic! Plenty of space for three adults and two young children. The pool was perfect and cleaned daily, as was the house, thanks to the lovely Alma. The mellow beach just behind the property was a great contrast to downtown. Convenient beach chairs and an umbrella were provided. While the main living areas were hot without A/C, the bedroom was comfortable. The location is ideal for walking, and renting a SXS was fun but not essential. The only downside was the unreliable internet, but it did force a nice break from work. Highly recommend!

Celebrated my 50th birthday with some of my favorite loved ones. Bernardo’s house was the perfect home away from home for us…but WAY better! The house was SO much bigger than anticipated. It looks exactly as it did in the photos. It was spotless, well decorated and unique. The grounds were clean, the pool was clean… the beach was just steps away. I would stay there again in a heartbeat!

Wonderful place. We would go back again. Had trouble ahead of time . Just had a few simple questions about what was supplied . Truly loved the place. We will be back

The pictures mirror reality. This was a 5 star location. We travelled with two families, altogether 9 of us. We stayed at the Garcetas house. The home is spacious, authentic in decoration, and fantastically located. This is the home furthest from the water yet at the same time, quieter and only a minute walk to the beach. Our days were spent walking into town (10 mins), playing in the waves and eating amazing meals wherever we went. To note, we did lose our fridge for 2/7 days, and one day we lost water for the evening. The staff responded to the issues, but unfortunately the fridge needed defrosting and this took quite a bit of time. Even with these issues, I would not hesitate to book at Las Hamacas again. The staff were friendly and responsive and the location, as well as the home itself, cannot be beat. We are already planning our next trip.
