Quite and private, the Long Pond House is nestled in the woods of the National Seashore, surrounded in lush gardens, and only steps away from Long Pond. This post and bean farmhouse is beautifully decorated with a unique style. Patios, porches, fish pond, a fire pit, and three lawns; this is the place to settle in and immerse yourself into all the good things that bring you here to Wellfleet. A five minute drive to the beach and town. Miles of hiking trails. Three bedrooms and full bathroom upstairs. One bedroom, two bathrooms downstairs. An open kitchen full of light and very airy, living room off the kitchen. Laundry just off the hallway. Porches off each entryway. A patio to the south, with a grill and seating.

Such a fantastic week. Unbeatable location. The home was so comfortable and fun. The surrounding garden was beautiful. The house had everything we needed. The ad did not list the fantastic CD collection and stereo system which made for fun evenings. We can’t wait to return.
We had a wonderful stay at Kai's place. In addition to the house being spacious and clean what set this house apart were the numerous thoughtful details. Fresh-cut flowers in vases, ample high-quality towels and linens, the creative decor (no generic, mass-produced art art here). The kitchen was well-stocked with cookware and grilling utensils, a full spice rack, fresh oil and vinegar, and ample tableware. The jewel in the crown was the remarkable garden and landscaping.

This home is in the National seashore. Very private, surrounded entirely in protected forest. There are two other homes on the same road, the closest of which is about a thousand feet away off through the woods.
Driving is the best option if you’re wanting to get around town. The home is surrounded in walking and biking trails that will take you to numerous ponds, and the beach if you’re up for a 20 minute walk. Town is a 20 minute walk up long pond rd and Main Street.
