El Faro Surf 309 never disappoints me. Check in was a breeze. The condo was clean. Everything I needed was there. I was able to chill, relax and just enjoy the comforts of home. I’m definitely coming back.

This condo and the location were perfect. It was close to everything! The beach was a few steps away and the main downtown area was up the street. We could walk everywhere, including to the ferry. There was always security outside at the pool area. We would definitely stay here again.

The location of El Faro and the facilities are excellent. The condo we stayed in was right above the beach and we had excellent views of both the ocean and the pool. Not only is it close to the beach, it's also close to all the bars, restaurants, and shops in town. The condo was clean and had everything you would need for an amazing stay in Playa del Carmen. The staff at the front desk were very helpful and the check-in was easy. Just a few things to be aware of. First, you are right on the beach, but the beach in this area is very narrow and was covered with seaweed. I'm not sure if the seaweed is seasonal, but it was all along the beaches in Playa and did not allow easy access to the water. Second, the condo was fully stocked, but there were no food items, such as condiments, when we stayed there. This might be simply luck of the draw, but be prepared to supply your own salt, pepper, sugar, cooking oil, and the like. Finally, the hot tub controls were not working. We were told the jets worked, but we couldn't get these to come on. Despite these minor issues, we had an excellent stay and would return again. Highly recommend!
