Really lovely cottage in beautiful scenery. Lovely location for walks on the Norfolk coastal path, close to Cromer for ice cream and sandcastles, and lots of National Trust properties within easy reach for a bit of culture. Only one word of warning - ceilings are low, so if you’re over 6-foot, you’ll be ducking a lot!

Pros: - stunning garden views from the garden and upstairs sun room, we sat and had dinner in the sunshine every night! - very well equipped- kitchen equipment, washing machine, WiFi, smart TV - trimingham is a cute, sleepy place which is a great base for exploring the coastal towns and villages - lots of towels and extra bedding - the sunroom upstairs is divine! We couldn’t help but sit and watch the sun set every night. - so spacious! Our family of 4 never felt cramped and the lounge was a lovely place to relax at night Cons- - when we arrived, I was a little down heartened by the levels of cleanliness. It didn’t look or like it had been recently cleaned. Windows were quite dirty in places and I had to clean the surfaces of dust when we arrived. - some of the furniture and fittings are quite tired and needing some care such as the shower curtain which is not far from falling down completely. This just fell short of what we were expecting for the price we paid. - the beach IS NOT accessible from the cottage so the info is quite misleading. However a 5 minute drive to Overstrand and you are at a lovely beach with cafes and facilities. That said, we had a fab time and once I’d given it a once over with some furniture wipes and opened up all the windows for fresh air, it really was lovely!

Great spot for exploring Norfolk coast. We parked in Overstrand and walked along beach to Cromer, really nice walk. Also visited Wells on sea, Sheringham and Blakeney. We had a great holiday, thank you
