The home is modern compared to the local area. The amenities provided from kitchenware, grilling, cleaning, towels, and bedding were a huge plus. Wifi, cable, and other internet channels are available on the TV located in the living room and the main bedroom. The main bedroom has its own bathroom. It's a quiet and serene location, with friendly neighbors for miles around. Don't be surprised if the locals on the street wave at you as you pass by. The Marina a block away has a small convenience store for emergencies and a local and larger convenience store with groceries, a deli, liquor, and wine is within 3 miles away. Hopefully, the 2 houses and restaurant at the end of the street are bought and re-established, it would be a huge benefit to this island getaway. Patuxent Seafood where you can get fresh raw oysters and crabs is less than a mile away and NAN's point, a mile away is a public launch for canoes and kayaks and the only public area to go fishing on the island.

Kathy & Steve's house was perfect for our needs, coming down to the area for a family wedding. The clean & open living / kitchen space was conducive to family time together. The kitchen had all the space we needed, and more. The private primary bedroom with bathroom was perfect for my parents, one with mobility issues. House has good natural light, and felt welcoming every time we came back from days exploring the area. All around a great experience.

The place was great! it was beautiful and big and convenient to Solomon's Island and Calvert cliffs. Great location to visit local beaches for sharks teeth. Because it was raining the first day, we took our 7 year olds to the Chesapeake Marine museum which was a surprise hit!

This was a wonderful place to stay. The house is spacious, spotless, and filled with all the amenities one would need. Some aspects we particularly enjoyed was the provision of bottled water, a brand new monopoly game, and a beautiful back porch. The surrounding area it’s filled with lovely natural sites and the neighborhood it’s very quiet. all told a great place to stay!
