Jackie and Richard were sweet and helpful, whenever we needed something they showed up (I think they live a few minutes drive away) but when we didn't need anything we had all of the peace and quiet we wanted the area is a beautiful country area and we loved being there. A GREAT STAY!

We had an incredible Christmas getaway at this charming lakeside house! The experience was made extra special by our fantastic host, who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was memorable. From the moment we arrived, the festive spirit enveloped us with a beautifully decorated Christmas tree in the sitting room. It truly added an enchanting touch and set the perfect ambiance for our holiday celebration. The indoor fireplace added warmth and coziness, creating the ideal setting for our festive gathering. The house itself was not only comfortable but also well-equipped, providing everything we needed for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. The proximity to the lake offered a nice walk to enjoy the view. Overall, our stay was nothing short of amazing. We couldn't have asked for a better place to spend our Christmas holiday. Our heartfelt thanks to our wonderful host for their hospitality and for making our stay truly unforgettable. We highly recommend this place!

The Quarry House was a lovely place to stay. Ideally setup for a Christmas break with our family. The house is old with a great history. It is cosy and comfortable with wood burning stove and has modern kitchen and bathrooms. Jackie was very responsive and helpful. Would highly recommend

The house is beautiful, filled with old objects and artworks but with all commodities we needed for a cosy and comfortable weekend. Jackie was very helpful and all instructions were clear. We were a group of college friends meeting up after being abroad for some years. The Quarry House is a great place to stay. It is clean, comfortable, and full of character.
