We had another wonderful vacation! We didn't want to leave. Todd was very attentive and responded right away if we needed anything. He had ice and bottled water in the fridge waiting for us; as well as Keurig coffee pods & other kitchen essentials. We absolutely love sitting on the screened in porch watching the freighters go by. Truly spectacular to see since the St Lawrence River is so narrow in that area. Todd's cabin is not only very clean and well maintained it is also very peaceful and quiet so you can just sit and enjoy the River. The air conditioning unit is a nice little bonus on those hotter days - even though most of the time the surrounding trees gave us plenty of shade and kept the cabin cooler. Thank you again Todd for a wonderful vacation!!

Host was attentive, checked on us via email more than once. Host provided coffee, sugar, half and half, and generous amounts of bottled water The kitchen had good utensils and cookware to prepare food Totally loved the porch, great to sit and read and watch the boats go by with an occasional ship, I counted cars, boats, bicycles, and runners. The boats outnumbered the cars 2 or 3 to one. I totally enjoyed watching the big ships up very close quietly gliding by. Track them at vesselfinder. com. Learn about “Lakers” vs “Salties” We enjoyed hearing a loon, seeing a deer in the yard. Enjoyed exploring the island in our car, I wished we had brought bicycles. I read another reviewer saying that island was too small for bicycles but 10 plus miles from one end to the other is more than enough to explore on bicycles. Maybe not for Tour de France but for leisure exploring I think would be great for bicycles. Wish we had brought ours. Take the Islands tour on Clayton Island Tours

Todd's place was exactly what I was looking for.We were fishing the river ,plenty room for the boat.Great views of the River. I would stay again.
