We have stayed here before. This place is even more beautiful in the fall. The views of the hill out the living room and front porch windows were spectacular with the fall colors. As always, Karen had everything ready for us. She really is a most congenial host. I feel if we needed any little thing, she would be there. Otherwise, she lets us alone. We have stayed at other places where we felt the host was constantly breathing down our neck. Hopefully we can book this cute home again.

We are so happy with our experience! everything was amazing, great location, recommendations, and private house! we did not get a chance to use the first but it would have been a perfect area to hang out! we definitely will be coming back!

When arriving to the home, we were disappointed with the unwelcoming appearance to the much older home. With it being over 90 degrees, and only having window air, we wish we would have been told that, rather than the excessive amount of notes to shut the air off. Our children were very nervous to sleep in the rooms upstairs as they were not cozy, but rather bedrooms that just meet the most basic need of a bed in a room. After multiple attempts of messaging the owner, we were unsuccessful ever getting part of her one tv in the house to work. The “master” bedroom was very dusty, window ledges covered in bugs. My husband and I woke up each morning covered in bug bites and when brought up to the owner, it basically was my own fault, and told to take Benedryl. After spending entirely too much money, I was then scolded for apparently not seeing a sign I needed to additionally pay for the small bucket of fire wood used and demanded I immediately pay for it. ABSOLUTELY WILL NEVER RECOMMEND
