è stato come un tuffo nel passato: La vecchia cucina economica, il tinello con il grande tavolo per i pranzi in famiglia, la stufa, la sveglia del gallo…. Malgrado la calura di luglio l’appartamento è fresco. Abbiamo passato una settimana di relax andando a fare la spesa a piedi (ottima la carne del macellaio in piazza)e girando per i tanti borghi antichi.

Great place in a super convenient location. Francesco was very helpful and accomodating when we had to check in late unexpectedly. Would stay again!

Gorgeous Tuscan apartment in a quiet hill town. Francesco was a great host and was very accommodating when we had trouble with our car rental.

I enjoyed my stay here and would recommend if you want to get some peace and quiet. The view is very beautiful from the back balcony great for watching sunsets. The furniture in the apartment definitely could use an update. Everything is functional, but not that comfortable. One thing to be careful of if you don’t have a car, running busses are very irregular. I made the mistake of not checking ahead of time and found on my checkout date of Sunday there were no running buses at all. And I didn’t call the taxi company early enough so I had trouble getting a ride. Ended up walking 10 miles to the closest bus stop. It was a beautiful walk, but my feet were cursing me out at the end. Don’t be me, plan better if you’re coming here lol

Due to a flight cancellation, I arrived a day later, but Francesco arranged a meeting point for the key handover and gave me clear instructions on how to turn on the water and electricity. He also kindly offered an extra day's stay. The place had everything you need and a supermarket within 200m, and free parking. - It was disappointing that the hot water supply wasn't sufficient for a full bath due to a boiler limitation. After waiting for 30 minutes, the water remained cold, and I had to settle for a cold shower. In the evening, the water quickly turned lukewarm after a few minutes. - Personally, I didn't find the bed comfortable. It was a bed with a spring coil mattress - There was Wi-Fi, but no internet access due to a recent storm. Despite Francesco's efforts, the issue couldn't be resolved, and I had to rely on my mobile data Monticiano is a beautiful and picturesque village, and the location was convenient for my meeting at Borgo Santo Pietro, just a short drive away.
