Very wonderful hosts. We felt right at home, the room was very clean and luxurious. The views were immaculate. I highly recommend with Claire and Mark, we will definitely be back.

Host was friendly and caring. the accommodations exceeded expectations. if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle this is for you. The bed and pillows were so soft. there was coffee, tea and candles! I could not get enough of the views! I will definitely visit again.

Claire & Mark were very kind and excellent communicators. Unfortunately, an unexpected emergency prohibited me from staying with them. There were gracious enough to provide me with a refund and were very understanding. I hope to be able to stay another time, as their property looks lovely.

We had an unforgettable stay at Claire & Mark's place over the Thanksgiving break! They are the most gracious and kind hosts imaginable, and they'll welcome you like family into their home. As other guests have mentioned, the photos don't do this place justice and it's hard to put into words just how unique and special it feels to be there. The primary unit where you'll be staying is upstairs, has its own private balcony with expansive views towards Monterey Bay and adjacent to the bedroom/livin room is the most luxurious bathroom you've ever seen - we particularly enjoyed the soaking tub with the fireplace, candles and lush surroundings! We got to experience gorgeous views of both sunset and sunrise, and it was hard to peel ourselves away to do anything else but relax and take in the vistas while we were there. This truly feels like a treetop oasis, we hope to go back and would recommend it in a heartbeat to anyone looking for a relaxing stay around the Monterey area.

This stay absolutely exceeded all expectations. From the time we arrived Claire and Mark made us feel right at home. This was our first time visiting the west coast due to an unexpected work trip and it was definitely our highlight of the trip. This is a place where the pictures don’t do it justice, both inside or outside on the property. We lament over the fact that we checked in after sunset, it would have been incredible. We saw all sorts of birds and creatures, this is a nature lover’s delight. The relaxation continued inside with the cozy fireplace, soaking tub, and private patio to soak in the views. The room was just perfect and was spotless and very tastefully appointed. Claire and Mark, thank you for your hospitality, we could have listened to your stories all day and we truly felt like we were visiting good friends. Thank you!
