自我介绍

Hi there! We are active outdoors people, and love our little home away from home in the Abel Tasman area of the South Island in NZ. Its a magic spot and we love being able to share it with travelling guests. Most of the year we are based in Southeast BC Canada, so our friend Heather is your caretaker, who also service the house in between guests to make sure its in top shape for your arrival. Heather previously worked for NZ Dept of Conservation for many years, as well as US Parks Service (Montana) previously, so she has a strong connection with conservation and we feel very lucky to have her work with us. Both Mike and I work in the aviation industry, Mike is a helicopter pilot and I am an aircraft engineer. Work is often very busy and demanding which we do enjoy, but when its time to take off and explore, there is no holding us back. We really value being a part of the Airbnb community, and try and book other Airbnb homes as often as we can when travelling for personal trips as well as using it for our travel for work. We love to get back to our little X on the map in NZ as much as possible, our last trip was Feb 2020 when we spent time landscaping the area around the fishing cottage, creating a peaceful natural space for guests to relax in. It is always great to spend time with friends & family and do some maintenance on the farm...we arrive with dreams of grand plans...usually only get 10% of them actually achieved but have a blast in the meantime. We know you'll enjoy this little spot in the Abel Tasman as much as we do, and hope you create some great memories and dreams of your own during your stay.
