This was a fabulous beach getaway for our family of 5 (including 3 teens)!! The cabin is very clean and well stocked! The inside is snug and studio style...all 3 beds (2 double beds and a futon) are essentially in the same space but who would want to spend any time indoors in this beautiful location!! Two of us even spent a few nights sleeping in the hammocks on the porch overlooking the ocean! Everyone we encountered was very friendly and we felt extremely safe. There is a great breakfast/lunch place right next door that serves tropic drinks too and countless other restaurants are within walking distance. We highly recommend Thongs Cafe, Kat's Coffee, Driftwood Pizza, Semiti Giffiti, and Coconut Husk restaurants! Noawel's Snorkeling was a great experience as well!

The photos don't do this place justice. Waking up to beach views is amazing! kitchen was well equipped but better yet restaurants in every direction. The fans and sea breeze kept us cool but you hear a fair bit of neighborhood in exchange.

Great location on the beach, very clean, great covered patio. Definitely needs AC for a summer trip. Curious communication regarding not to interact with the neighbors (Garifuna). One of the reasons we chose this location was specifically to interact with the locals. Will not be returning, in fact left early on our own accord.

Beautiful view and excellent location! Loved falling to sleep at night to the sound of the sea. Felt like we had our own private cabin with lots of things to do nearby.

We loved our stay and the location was great! The host was very responsive and helpful. All toiletries, etc. were provided and we had everything we needed. Steps to the beach and lots of local restaurants within just a couple mins walk. Jalapeño Grill seemed to be owned by an American and wasn't that great, so personally we enjoyed the restaurants owned by locals much more. Highly recommend Hopkins Smokey Grill across from Jalapeño Grill. That was our favorite place to eat. Food was amazing and the owners were such a sweet local family. Just a couple things to note, that are out of the host's control: 1. On Friday and Saturday nights, very loud music played from both neighbors until about 3am. The host did provide earplugs on the nightstands. 2. There was a lot of seaweed which made it difficult/impossible to swim in the ocean a couple of the days during our trip. The host did rake it every other day, but just be prepared you may not be able to swim at the beach every day.
