Pros: --Host was very responsive --Non-standard check-in/check-out times were both accommodated --Location is wonderful - walking distance of an excellent beach with sand, turtles (sometimes), and tide pools --Beautiful view from the upstairs bedroom on to the ocean --Lending library + board games were available Cons: --Condo and furnishings are dated verging on shabby/poorly-maintained. Part of the microwave fell off on us when we tried to use it, multiple tears in the couch cushions, etc. Most troublesome was the bed, which had body impressions from long-time use and vibrated noticeably anytime someone rolled over or shifted --Second floor of unit is very hot during the daytime --Only a few packs of dishwasher detergent and laundry detergent were supplied - far less than needed for our two week stay. A minor inconvenience, but given the price of the rental it seemed an unnecessary one.

A fantastic location! Million dollar views from the condo and a short walk to the black sand beach (sea turtles every day while we were there!). A short drive to the volcano park (great hiking), or to the green sand beach (just wow!). The condo was great. 2 nice bedrooms and 2 full baths. The bathrooms and kitchen were a little dated, but well equipped and everything worked fine! Lots of the necessities were provided - even some tide pods for the washer and drier in the unit. We would absolutely stay here again - highly recommended!

The condo was clean, comfortable, had a 10 minute walk to Punalu’u beach and a stunning ocean view. Would stay here again!
