The location was absolutely worth the trip. The beaches were peaceful and pristine. The community was quiet and well kept. Absolutely lovely place to get away from it all.

We felt right at home as soon as we arrived. I felt like I was visiting family. Terry was very kind, helpful, and attentive. She gave us a lot of recommendations for things to do outside of the beach. The beach was amazing. A great walk down and on the beach. We found several fossilized shark teeth, shells, speed whale tooth, a ton of sea glass, and more. Everyone around was so friendly as well. My daughter and I chatted with terry a lot about her community, surround area, and the beaches. There is a wood stove in the apartment area and she made sure to keep it warm for us down there and comfortable. We had an amazing time she is so kind and inviting.
Terry bent over backwards to make sure we had all the information we needed before, during, and after our stay. She provided spot on information on things to do and places to eat in the local area.
Terry’s place is a magical retreat surrounded by beautiful forests and a stones throw away from the glorious Chesapeake bay shores. We spent a couple of very relaxing lazy days enjoying the woods, the beautiful peace and quiet and little kayaking adventures around the area. Terry was so kind and loving and she welcomed us to make us feel like we were actually visiting family. We will be back for sure!! :)

自我介绍
Retired science teacher who has circumnavigated 24 countries about the world by sailboat. Avid reef diver and sailor. Enjoys fossil hunting the beach. Favorite places were French Polynesia, Argentina, Nova Scotia, Vanuatu, Tonga, Fiji, New Zealand, Malaysia, Palau, Philippines, Vietnam, Indonesia and Thailand. I now race hot smaller yachts in Solomons on Wednesdays. I live on the premises and love to cook foreign specialties in Thai, Indian, French, Southern MD and Italian cuisine. Even though I am a serious yacht and dinghy racer, I emphasize relaxation for my guests. I can provide cooking lessons, massage, yoga, stretching, breathing and meditation techniques. I also provide a double ocean kayak which will accommodate a young child as well. Life preservers are provided. I also have a younger partner, Mark Gyorgy, who is the race governor for Southern Maryland sailing Association, who can teach sailing on his Tartan racing Wicked Good or Buccaneer, Kick 'em Jenny. Each of us have over 50 years of boating experience. A healthy lifestyle starts within the first minute you arrive at my home. You will feel you have shed worries and pounds within a day's time. My home provides the perfect respite for a telework. Many have had corporate meetings, reunions and retreats here. Wouldn't life be great if we spent a little of every day truly living it??
