We had a lovely stay with Melanie. We were hiking part of the Rob Roy Way, and because it was early in the season there were very few places available. Melanie was a lovely host. The room was comfortable and just like the pictures. She also very kindly let us do a load of laundry, a lifesaver. The next morning she prepared a delicious meal of porridge (I had the whiskey porridge and it was lovely!) and sent us on our way well rested and fed. She even brought a souvenier that I forgot to our hotel in the next town - going above and beyond, as we had no means of transportation available. (We paid her extra for this as it was well deserved.)

Beautiful space, friendly host. The room is off the lounge of a family home and so a family feel with a few cats and dog (to be aware of if any allergies!) Tasty breakfast too

Melanie's place was great, beautifully designed. Melanie was also a great host and made us the best Turmeric Latte ever and the breakfast was also great Melanie has obviously put a lot of work into this renovated cottage and the whole experience was just a joy and shame it was only one night...would have been good to try some of the alternative therapies that she offers but next time for sure.

There are no words. Felt like we’d just come home to see family, such a comfortable atmosphere and friendly family, ended up spending the evening with Melanie by the fire having epic conversation and enjoying each others company. Breakfast was EPIC and so beautifully catered for with options. Honestly one of the best stays. Bed is the comfiest bed iv ever slept in too 😂
