I travelled with two friends and we loved Bruce’s place. It was very clean and welcoming that we felt right away at home. Bruce and Lawrence were very helpful and gave us lots of information of places to visit like the Japanese Garden Tea and Grace Cathedral. Their house is close to different transportation systems so we were able to get to it using different buses, metro and bart. Their neighborhood also felt really safe. I would definitely recommend it to other guests looking to stay in SF.
This was my first Airbnb stay where I didn't have the place to myself. Bruce and Lawrence were great hosts. The bed was comfortable. The room had everything I needed, and I liked the bathroom, too. The house was quiet and I slept well. If you're coming to SF as a tourist, Bruce's place is not in a touristy location, but it's near transit that will have you at touristy locations PDQ. Bruce and Lawrence were eager to share the city; there's even a poster in the hallway illustrating the city's districts. And finally, there's Heddy, the cherished head of the household. Heddy is well behaved and charming. She likes to shake hands and she makes a good dance partner.
In the City visiting our son and daughter-in-law; the locale ideal as we readily walked to Glenn Canyon (and, of course, stopped at the CanyonMarket en route!) While we never never cooked the shared kitchen is readily accessible; the bathroom spotless, the room & bed way comfortable. Bruce's AB&B offering matched and exceeded expectations, wonderful value. Bruce and his partner were incredibly kind during my stay. Heddy, their dog, is adorable as well. They have a real diamond in the rough in a great neighborhood with an adorable house.

You will be staying with a gay couple whom is open to the diverse people that want to stay with us in San Francisco. Bruce is a SF city guide giving free walking tours (Cable Cars, Halfway to the Stars). We have lived in our house, which we love, since 2007. Our neighborhood is a hidden gem in the city. We are located in a quieter part of San Francisco without lots of noise from bars etc.
