It was our first time on Kangaroo Island and Jill was incredibly helpful with everything from ferry times to recommended attractions. The house is very spacious with two living areas which is great for families with teens. Very clean and comfortable beds. Lots of board games and books. It’s close to lovely eating places in Kingscote and was a great base from which we could visit most of the island. We were there for 3 nights but wished we stayed for longer.

We had 6 days here on Kangaroo Island and it was a great base. The house itself is well setup and has a great covered balcony with dining table and decent Weber Q BBQ. It is convenient to Kingscote which has a well stoked Drakes (supermarket) but nicely out of town so it is quiet and peaceful and had amazing night sky views when there was no cloud. Air conditioning unit upstairs was nice to cool the upstairs down and get out of the heat! It is very close to the beach but note it is not a good swimming beach - it is extremely shallow and very muddy; best at low tide but still not ideal! However there is a tidal pool in Kingscote 3-4mins drive down the road, or 20-25mins walk for those wanting to swim or cool down! We had a great stay, thanks.
