Fantastic stay at 2 ocean view. Many thanks Pamela and Sarah! Great instructions to self check in and the location is fantastic. We love the atmosphere at the beachcomber cafe and dog friendly too. We had the weather against us for most of our stay but the apartment was perfect for chilling out and watching the waves on the beach, everything you need for self catering on a rainy day! Check out the curry at Barricane Beach, that’s really good value and very tasty. Rock pool exploring when the tide is out is a must for starfish spotting. When we did get in the sea, the wet suit wash off spot in the car park was really useful and the hanging hooks in the yard really handy. We’d recommend ocean view any time of year. I think we were lucky with the Easter break being a little overcast as it meant Woolacombe wasn’t too busy. We found we didn’t really need to drive anywhere. If you do run out of anything the Londis on the high street is well stocked. Thanks Pamela & Sarah for having us!
Spacious, light flat in great location close to beach and village amenities. Modern well equipped kitchen and comfortable sofa. Beautiful views. The apartment itself is starting to look tired and uncared for though, which is surprising right at the start of the season. Broken blinds, paint coming off the bedroom wall, a broken loo roll holder and about half a dozen lights not working in various rooms. The loo in the main bedroom had not been cleaned thoroughly and the bedroom floor was dusty too. The mismatched bedding felt cheap and was well used with stained pillows. A shame as the layout of the place is great- it just needs some TLC. We got a cheap deal for late booking but if we had paid the full price it would have been poor value for money. Felt like cheaper budget family accommodation but with a premium price tag. Some lovely places to eat nearby. Especially recommend The Beach House in Woolacombe and Miss Fea’s Bistro in Mortehoe.
Absolutely loved our time in the apartment. Incredible views from the minute you wake up and drawer the curtains. Plenty of outdoor space which I thought were shared when I saw the photos but were private and belonged to the apartment. 1 minute from the beach. Just an incredible holiday. Absolutely spotless. Great beds. Incredibly relaxing. Will definitely be back. Should have booked a longer break.
Had the most amazing stay for mine and my partners birthday, 2 minuite walk to local cafes and resturants, the apartment is just stunning i cant express how beautiful it really is, spotless and the views are incase from the bacony and lower garden area its quiet peaceful bedroom is very spacious. Cant recommend it highly enough worth every penny and more! The housekeeping team sarah were amazing replied quickly and thankyou to Pamela for having the perfect air bnb.
