Great place to stay . Close to boat ramp . Perfect for bass fishing in the morning and boating out to the spring in the afternoon . Place was spacious with a nice kitchen fully ready. Will book again forsure !

Place was very private and peaceful. It appears it had not been rented in some time as it smelled musty and looked like it hadn’t been freshly cleaned. I had to do a pre-clean before putting our things out.

The purpose of this trip was to stay on the river with our Jon boat and cruise up rainbow river. There is a boat ramp close enough by at 41. It would have been nice to have a bike like other rentals have. That would make things easier to pick my truck back up once I drove boat back to dock. So about a 20 minute walk unless you have another vehicle. The house is spacious and has a beautiful view. I would say that if you intend to make coffee in the morning add it to your grocery list. The pantry was empty but there are plenty of plates and bowls. I don’t want to say negative things about this place because I’m always grateful to stay somewhere like this. However, I think it needs mentioning the place did not feel clean. There were pee stains on the floor in front of the toilet, dead wasps and roaches on the floor in a few places. The rental felt stagnant and the air had not dehumidified the home. It was evident that no one had been there recently to prepare for our visit. It would have been nice to make better use of the outside area out back. With such a nice view, but a quick visit from the owners prior to our visit would have made that area resemble the pictures. The outside area was just leaves from the Cypress trees all over dock and walk way. It would be nice to have more bed linens and pillows as well. We’re easy to please and like I said I don’t want to trash this listing, but if I had brought my grandparents like I did my previous trip to rainbow, this house wouldn’t have worked as well as Dales. I know this isn’t a 4 seasons hotel but I do recommend putting more effort into the rental. Over all I think you have a beautiful place but it does need more. Either bikes, games, some sort of activities to do at the home besides TV.
