Peter was a Great Host! The Grounds and home were spacious and wonderful. Access was easy, the pool was great, and we all had plenty of room and space. The location is great between Hilo and Volcano and we had quite the Fire works show all around us to bring in the New Year! The Kitchen was nice size as well as the living room, bar, and outdoor covered Lanai. The Grill is new and we made good use of it. The only thing i would say was a little tricky were some of the light switches for the guest bathroom and some of the fans and lights in the living room, but that was easy once you got used to it. Great Price for a great home that made you feel like it was yours. I would return for sure!

Overall Peter’s place was fantastic, beautiful, quiet and in a great location (close to grocery stores, restaurants and Hilo 25min away). He provided all basic house needs. My grandma had a walker and it was easily accessible for her. A couple minor things to mention: one of the bathroom light switches did not work, we had to wash bedsheets in the 2nd bedroom due to a smell, and at times Netflix would not start due to internet issues. Even with the few issues we would still highly recommend Peter’s place for a nice getaway trip and a big family trip. Thank you Peter!

I would have been very happy with this place, however, we had an embarrassing and frustrating beginning to our experience. The alarm system was not deactivated before we arrived at our scheduled time. We entered the house according to Peter’s instructions and the alarm began to sound extremely loudly. It went off twice that night. The cops arrived and took down my information, which was an embarrassing moment for me. Since it was Christmas Eve night Peter didn’t answer his phone to tell us how to shut the alarm off. The alarm went off again in the morning while I was on the phone with Peter and he told me how to deactivate it. A situation that caused stress for our family during the first night. The property itself is wonderful! It’s very peaceful and relaxing place to stay. It’s an outstanding place for a family of 8. Plenty of room to relax after our exploring the Big Island. It’s located in an area where you can drive to several fun places.

This is a gem of a vacation rental. It is extremely well maintained and really perfect for family vacations. It is close to everything you'd want to see and be near on the island. The host is communicative and helpful. You don't want to miss this location and property. Really you will have an unforgettable and ideal experience here!
