We had a lovely stay at the Garlic Farm with our two children (aged 10 and 12). The space was perfect for our needs. We were unlucky with the weather but nevertheless we found plenty to do! Having peacocks and doves and other animals wandering around nearby was lovely and such a treat too! Being an avid tennis player I was really impressed with the court and what great condition it is in and our children also really enjoyed the football pitch and games room. In fact we have been asked if we can go back next year!
Can’t fault anything at all, the cottage was beautiful and we felt underpriced for what we paid, albeit cheaper than the summer months. The cottage felt really private despite it being located in the middle of the farm next to the cafe and shop. It had everything we could have needed, down to some classic family games we found stashed in the kids room. We stayed for 2 nights with our teenage boys, planned to go to lots of local areas but ended up staying on the farm for a lot of it due to the fantastic amenities, specifically the games room and tennis court which kept us busy for hours. Hugo is an excellent host, and everyone who works on the farm is so friendly and helpful. We even needed help jumping our car on check out and Hugo got that sorted for us! Walking outside your front door to chickens and peacocks is also really special. Would absolutely recommend booking, it’s the perfect place to stay in every season.

We had an awesome time at the garlic farm with our little one ! The food at the restaurant was amazing for both breakfast and lunch. Peacocks literally outside out cottage which our one year old loved. When we mentioned we needed a non-slip bath mat, Hugo went out of his way to get us a brand new one! The location was spot-on, and we're looking forward to coming back. Highly recommend it for families! 😄👪
