This place blew me away. The home is simply so beautiful -- the design is immaculate from each piece of furniture to each individual piece of decor. Everything feels like a perfect balance of style, function, and comfort. There are four separate common spaces, all spacious and comfortable enough to organically feed communal division. The pool water was clean as were the common spaces, especially thanks to the cleaning lady. The bedrooms are also stunning with antique chifforobes for storing clothes, AC units, and comfortable beds. The water pressure and hot water in the bathrooms are perfect for easy bathing. Despite booking last minute, my friends and I felt welcome and comfortable. The butler and cleaning lady were kind and very attentive. From the moment we arrived, we lamented not staying longer. If I were to visit Cartagena again, I wouldn't think twice about staying here.

This stay renewed my love for AirBnb! The home was so beautiful, and exactly as described. Nicolas was incredibly helpful, provided us with tons of recommendations and made sure that we had everything we needed. What a fabulous host, and home! The home couldn’t of been more perfect for our girls trip. Would book again, and recommend for anyone staying in Carta!

We had an amazing experience at Casa Monaco this past week, the house is a beautiful Mediterranean style Villa in the heart of the Walled Historic City. The location is within walking distance of many shops, cafes and restaurants as well as plazas where you can sit and enjoy local folkloric dancers and displays of local art and artisans goods. The Sarrazuela Mall located within the walled city is also a great place for shopping and dining. We were very lucky to have Nicolas give us a list of recommendations because they were all spectacular. The hospitality from Nicola’s staff was fantastic; Luis was there daily to make sure everything was in place and Gloria made yummy food for us and made sure everything was impeccable.

We had a blast at Nicolas's Airbnb in Cartagena. The pictures of this house are stunning and don't even do it justice - what a place! it's the perfect location in the old city, walkable to everything, with too many cafes to choose from within a block or two. the rooms are great, and the pool is even better. Nicolas also helped to plan activities while we were in Cartagena - like a full day boat trip. Absolutely recommend staying here, and we would definitely want to come back
