We had the most amazing weekend in this beautiful house. Very nice choice for a getaway weekend vacation. Karli is super nice always reply to message in a very timely manner (even it’s really late in the evening!). Highly recommend!

We loved our stay at the Darby House! Super peaceful and secluded. Exactly what you need in a weekend getaway. Karli was a superb host with a quick response time and thorough answers to all of our questions. Would definitely stay here again! It is worth noting that if there is snow on the ground, make sure you have a car that can navigate a little ice on the driveway (we had a bunch of snow our weekend and sub freezing temperatures). Karli made sure the driveway was shoveled before we got there which was greatly appreciated!

The perfect little escape. We had a lovely stay that felt private without being too far from town. The A frame was stocked with all the essentials and was thoughtfully decorated to make for a very comfortable weekend away. The wood fire stove really added to the cabin atmosphere and the charcoal grill outside was a nice cooking option. We got a light dusting of snow which was pretty magical through the big windows and skylights. Our hosts were also very responsive which made it easy to get settled in quickly.

The place gets tons of light with the skylight and the windows. Beautiful property with a nice patio and a fire pit. Trees surround the entire house. I can imagine it being even more beautiful in the spring and fall. You can see outlines of the mountains nearby through the trees since we came in the winter. Indoors, there’s a full kitchen though a bit dated, fully functional with everything you need. I do recommend bringing your own kitchen spices though they have a hodge podge of spices left over from previous guests. We brought our cast iron pan and basically used that the entire time. The bed in the loft was firm but fairly comfortable with the mattress topper. The bed downstairs was firm as well. The bathrooms are fine and enough water pressure. The property has stone steps up and a few steps once you get in - so may be difficult for folks with walking issues. Overall, a beautiful stay and we got to see the Delaware river which is so close.
