The perfect escape. I was looking for a house in a beautifully scenic area to get some focused writing done for 9 days at the end of February. The house did the job perfectly. Spacious and beautiful, comfortable, with a big kitchen. I couldn't have been happier to have picked this spot to work.

loved juan’s place!! we booked it for a girls trip because we got tickets for an art class at Sullivan Public in Eldred. the house was perfectly located for this activity, not too far from Narrowsburg and surrounding towns. the home was perfectly clean, matched the photos, and the best spot for a relaxing retreat. highly recommend :)

This is one of those remote places we want to go back to. Perched on a forested hill high above the Delaware River, the house and property became our magical sanctuary where our view from the jacuzzi or yoga room became our new norm. The house is very spacious and crafty in its design. It's a newer structure with a lofted clerestory space paneled in soft pine all around. There's a grand piano, fusbol and a record player plus many added elements in the meditation space. Furniture was comfortable and the bathrooms well appointed. There's more to explore in this area but we ended up 30 minutes away in Hawley, PA, a very cute town with great food. Juan is an excellent host.

We had a lovely getaway at Juan's beautiful home in Barryville! Its very warm, cozy and well-stocked. The house is a beautiful combination of rustic style yet modern. The queen bed was very comfortable - so much so that we took down the brand/model. The yoga room was a really touch! It was very relaxing to have a dedicated space for yoga/meditation but it was chilly in the room during the winter. The kitchen is huge and great for cooking/eating - all the pots, pans, gadgets and spices you would need. The bathrooms were very clean and well designed and there was had shampoo/conditioner. We didn't get to use the hot tub since it was cold/raining/snowing. Overall it was a very comfortable and relaxing stay. Juan was very helpful with restaurant recommendations and the check-in process. We highly recommend! Also my girlfriend and I got engaged here so this home will always be special for us :)

Juan’s place is everything you want for a weekend getaway to the woods. An amazing space to relax, think and enjoy the trees and nature around the area. We loved hanging out in the meditation room and exploring the river and surrounding areas. You can feel that this is a special place the moment you walk in and see the property. Take a break from noisy world and go relax by the Delaware river in the woods!
