If you need to get away from the city and find a peaceful place to stay in the woods, this is the place. A rare find amongst a myriad of choices, this place has everything you need and more! Well stocked kitchen and spotless interior and a fireplace to set the mood. There is even a record player with some great choice of music. I highly recommend this place and plan on visiting again soon!

10 out of 10 highly recommend! Wonderful, cozy, winter stay. This was exactly what we needed, a beautiful peaceful getaway. The reviews, description and photos are all accurate. Truly you won’t believe how special this place is until you’re there. Maggie and Dustin are very accessible and responsive hosts who have thought of EVERYTHING and you do feel welcomed by all of the special touches. The bed was comfy, many places to lounge, good hot water for showers, perfect internet, well stocked kitchen and stunning views. I do love that they also “pay it forward” making a contribution to a couple of charitable causes with each stay. I have this one saved to return in the future!

Beautifully renovated schoolhouse, classic elements with modern finishes. Extremely well equipped - we cooked several big meals and found everything we needed! Beautiful views of the river and stunning sunsets. One of the best airbnbs we’ve ever stayed at. Highly recommend for a cozy, romantic trip for two.
