From one superhost to another, well done. The River Suite is exactly as described. We had a great time. Made use of the BBQ and eating area, bonfires in the evenings and even spent a really nice evening with Lynn and Mike. Within the suite all the amenities that you would need are there and we felt at home straight away. Can’t wait to go back.
We had a lovely 3 nights at this sweet place. Lynn & Mike were gracious hosts all around. The suite is exactly as shown. At first we were concerned it might be a bit close to the main house. But our hosts were very respectful of privacy and were always on hand with helpful suggestions and wonderful stories. The bed in the suite is supremely comfortable! And Mike gave us some great tips on places to visit. Some faves being: Fogrig brewery, Church Key brewery, some local hikes, & Lynn has an awesome connection for some really great yoga! We brought our canoe and had tons of fun paddling the Trent & fishing. The river can get busy, just fyi for non experienced paddlers. Mike sets up nightly bonfires if you enjoy that (we do!) & the S'mores were pretty fab. Overall it was a great experience! Hospitality is an art and these guys have got it figured out. Thanks for a great stay. There's still so many things we didn't get to because of time. There's quite alot to see and do in this area!
Loved it. Great spot with everything you need for a fab break away. I would highly recommend this place. Right on the water, the fire pit, the pool, the kayaks, the BBQ, the swing chair, and hammock were all fabulous features to this place. We loved the vibe so much.. Lynn and Mike were so nice and made us feel at home in their home.. We would definitely come back again. Lynn is a fantastic host.
Cute little place. Beautiful river front. We really enjoyed our getaway. It’s a 50 minute drive to the P.E.C. Wineries. The room is very clean and has everything we needed.
