Friends were hosting at Duns Castle & we opted to stay at Jane’s, which was about a 45 min walk from the castle grounds & estate. Jane & Scott (& their two lovely dogs, Squidge & Higgle) were friendly and welcoming hosts! Airbnb is as described & we really enjoyed both the indoor accommodations & beautiful grounds, including nice walks on and off the property. We were travelling with one dog & a car, and Jane’s place was very convenient. Jane is a very responsive host!
We had a wonderful stay at the cottage was lovely peaceful and was great to have ducks chickens and sheep right beside the cottage. We loved exploring the grounds where the cottage is. The garden was beautiful and as i am a keen gardener/ allotment grower myself i loved to see the growing area and would be great to see in the summer! Was great to get some homemade jam for our pancakes and even eggs! these wee personal touches really made it! thank you for the great stay.
Jane place is in a fantastic location with stunning grounds around the cottage. Has all the facilities you need.
