Best annotated place on AirBnB! Joe has a note for everything in the house. Everything! We counted 87 notes and I'm sure we missed some!. Want to know which switch dims the living room? There is a note for that! Want to know which cupboard contains 10 paper plates? There is a note for that, too! :-) The place is great, we loved waking up to the views of the lake. Joe was very nice, and proactively helped. Example: when we went to start a fire with the kids, we found Joe had already set up the firepit with all the wood perfectly set up and had even left a bucket with water to put it out at the end (fire risk was set to "high" in the area).

Beautiful location on the lake perfectly situated close to Duluth's attractions and dining and close to head up Shore for hiking and more. Loved visiting the shops along the scenic drive. Great visiting w Joe! lovely fire pit and star gazing, and cozy gas stove for warmth inside.

Wonderful place, wonderful host! Just a heads up that there is no longer a shower/tub combo, for those who need a bath. Amazing place - very private and peaceful!

Wished we could have stayed longer. Great view of the lake from yard, deck and house. Clean and comfortable. We had a couple questions and the caretaker got back to us quickly and took great care of us. Joe was friendly, but respected our privacy. Amazingly quiet and peaceful, yet convenient to the highway and close to restaurants. The kitchen was well appointed and well-labeled. We had everything we needed. Steps were marked for visibility and there were handrails. For someone with poor nightsight, it made navigating the walk easy. This is going on our list of places to come back to!

Such a beautiful, peaceful space for our family! Really the lake view and swing alone are worth the whole stay. FYI it is difficult but possible to fit a travel crib and toddler bed in the rooms, but you will need to rearrange the furniture a bit.
