A spacious, bright home in a quiet spot, overlooking fields. The back garden is south facing and a real sun trap, with a large decking area and an outbuilding containing gym equipment in one room and seating / working area in the other. Large sitting room &kitchen/ diner. The house is situated in a Broadland village with its own broad and water garden, whilst Ranworth Broad and its popular pub is a 15 min walk/3 min drive away and the nearest beach a 20 min drive. Norwich is also 20 mins away.

Flora's house is truly beautiful. It is really spacious, had very comfortable beds and it's location is in a very picturesque area of Norfolk. We did a lovely walk around Upton and along the river, stopping at the White Horse Pub. Fantastic local cider and also ate at the Fur and Feather pub. Flora was kind and communicated well. All 4 of us would love to stay again. Was a great weekend
We had a lovely 3 night stay at Flora’s place. Such a beautiful well equipped home in a peaceful location. Dog friendly right in the heart of Norfolk countryside, close to the coast and The Broads. We recommend visiting Fairhaven woodland and water garden, just a short walk up the road from the house. Thanks Flora :-)
Flora’s home is so cosy and homely, we had a lovely stay. Very quiet and relaxing stay with a lovely garden to enjoy the sunshine. A great spot to base from when exploring the Norfolk broads area.
Großzügiges Ferienhaus mit Garten. Tolle Lage. Schön, wenn man ein paar ruhige Tage verleben will. Im Haus ist alles vorhanden, was man als reisender brauchen könnte. Die Raumaufteilung ist sehr gut.
Beautiful home from home stay .. loved Floras house and her art .. it is a quiet village but a good base .. We visited Horsey beach and spotted many Seals .. they were so interested in everything happing on the beach ! .. We also visited Fairhaven Gardens which are beautiful well worthy of a visit.. Fabulous weekend .

South Walsham is a pretty and peaceful village with 2 churches, one of which is now a cultural centre, lovely walks, playground and playing field, its own broad and a water garden complete with nature trails, cafe and shop. It’s close to all the other broads, Acle village where there is co-op supermarket, butcher, pharmacy, pub, cafes and various other amenities and 20 minutes drive from Winterton beach and its cafe. Please not that although the air B and B setting makes it look as though the property is in Lingwood it is in South Walsham!
We recommend a car as bus services are limited. However, Acle and Salhouse, 7 minute drives either direction from the house both have train stations: Acle (where you can hire boats for the Broads / river) is on the Norwich-Yarmouth line whilst Salhouse is on the Norwich-Sheringham line. There are 2 car parking spaces outside the garage. There are many lovely walks around and from the village itself and the North Norfolk coast can be reached by car in 40-50 minutes whilst the east coast beaches complete with seal colony are a 20 minute drive away. Wroxham is a 15 minute drive away from where you can hire day boats on the Broads.

Hi. I’m Flora. I love travelling in Europe and exploring beautiful art and architecture and sites of historical interest. I also have to travel a lot for my job - I’m a medical malpractice defence lawyer and broker - and have recently tired of the sometimes soulless hotel option. Whether I’m away for work or pleasure a quiet spot is a must for me - I need my sleep! Therefore, whilst it’s always lovely to meet people and I am a sociable person, I definitely prefer places that are tucked away and will guarantee more of a home from home than a party experience! I enjoy cooking, but am always tidy, respectful and careful when doing so -owning my own place and having had lodgers in the past has made me a particularly sensitive guest I hope! I don’t smoke and am quite active in terms of yoga and similar activities. I’m looking forward to some more ‘authentic’ living experiences thanks to Air B and B.
