OUTSTANDING …!!!! Just perfect .. everything about this stay was homely .. Barry and family are amazing , we loved every minute of our stay .. it’s our new Lake District home now .. the venue is kitted out with everything you need , clean .. just magical … 15 out of 10.. it’s quite , private and relaxing thank you Barry and family

Thanks so much for our stay, we really enjoyed our long weekend in the cottage. The place is so cute, and that log burner makes for a very cosy space. Just what the doctor ordered! 🙂

Beautiful little cottage - it actually seems bigger than it looks from the outside. The woodburner, ceramic radiator and super electric blanket made for a cosy stay (even when Storm Kathleen raged outside). The space has been very well designed with many thoughtful little extra touches, and it is well placed for exploring the Lake District. Wish we could have stayed longer! Just one thing we felt could have been mentioned right from the start - i.e. in the description on Airbnb - was the condition of the track from the main road to the property. It is quite badly potholed, and posed a big challenge for our car, which is quite low to the ground.

Loved our stay in the tiny little house in The Lakes. Great location within 30mins of Lake Windermere. A lot of thought was put into the accommodation to meet our every need. Such a lovely property and a great host.
