We offer a cozy, well-light one bedroom and sweet little dining area with a half bathroom (a restroom with a toilet and sink). The two rooms are at the back of our house so you can come and go as you please with your own dedicated entrance. You will have access to our kitchen, laundry room, and the upstairs bathtub/shower. We are located a block from several bus stops that take you directly to either the red or green line on the Metrorail for easy access to DC. The space is an addition that was built many years ago and has the feel of being separate from the rest of the house. It has sunny rooms and looks over our large backyard. The space does not have its own shower, so you will need to come into our shared space to use it. When coming from your space into the shared space, you enter our kitchen, which we are happy to share. I do use the space to cook professionally a couple times a week, so if you are interested in using the space, we would need to create a schedule. We also have a washer and dryer you are welcome to use in our basement. Currently, there is only street parking. The street we live on does not have public parking. Within a block, however, there is free street parking. Because we live in a small town, there is always parking available nearby. The house is occupied by me, mom, and my two children, Sophia, 18, and Levi, 16. Both of my children are acclimated to hosting and are very helpful and thoughtful by nature. We also have two cats, so if you are allergic this house would not be a good fit.
