Sarah is really amazing host. She is so friendly, responsive and accommodating. She makes us feel at home and at ease straight away. In addition, it is so nice to have lovely breakfast (personalizable) made for you and your friends every morning. You can see she worked hard for it so her guests can enjoy their time so well here. When we said we would like to do BBQ next day, before we asked her, the BBQ equipment was put outside. Furthermore, it is so rare to have three on-suite bedrooms, it is perfect for a few families to get together. There is a lot to do around the area too, like the steam train in nearby town Tenterden and the Rare Breeds Centre which are all above our expectations. Thank you Sarah.

If you imagined a perfect setting for a getaway to the English Countryside, then Shirkoak B&B with Sarah as your host is the spot for you! Greet each day to peaceful views of the pond surrounded by roses, and the delicious and hearty breakfasts prepared by Sarah. Your worries will melt away! We wanted to stay near the vineyards but not drive, and Shirkoak is close to lots of attractions, but still private and secluded. To get around we used Tighes Private Car Hire (highly recommend Brian if looking to get a taxi!) and walked to Woodchurch to explore town. The walk is not very far but be aware it is dark at night with few signs. The town is lovely and if you stop at the Woodchurch Hub and pick up a community newsletter you’ll have access to lots of activities to participate in on your visit. The grounds at Shirkoak are beautiful and steeped in history, and Sarah is the consummate host available to help with whatever you need. We only wish we had more time and can’t wait to return!

Exceptional airbnb in perfect location. Sarah made us feel very welcome and took time out of her busy day to talk to us. The place was very clean and tidy with sumptuous beds and linen. Breakfast fit for a king. Steak night at the Six Bells on Sarah's recommendation did not disappoint. Puppy cuddles were an added bonus! We would recommend Sarah place and hope to return when next in the area. Thank you Sarah.

We 2 adults and 4 children (12, 3, 20 months and 6 months) had a great 4 night stay here. The house is beautiful and the hosts have keep everything in keeping with the age of the property with modern amenities. The breakfast is outstanding as well a the hosts. We definitely recommend and will return.
