We stayed for 2 nights with our 10 and 7 year old. The tent was amazing, super comfy and cozy beds, well equipped little kitchen, lots of games and books, all super clean and welcoming. Loved the little toilet shed, and the outdoor shower was super warm and fun! The kids loved the rope swings and the big climbing tree. Was so special to have access to our own little private bluebell wood. When we arrived there were around 100 deer in the field. I hadn’t expected it from the listing, but the tent is completely alone in a huge field. It’s totally private and just stunning. Although it was May, it was really cold at night - we were glad of the thoughtful hot water bottles and the cosy blankets. Loved having breakfast on the terrace in the beautiful sunshine in the morning. Just loved it, wish we’d booked for longer! Thank you 😊

We absolutely loved it. Lovely hosts, amazing location, so private you feel comfortable immediately with the outdoor showers in nature. Deer came to visit daily making the morning coffee brilliant. Kids could run around and explore safely. Couldnt ask for a better place to stay and highly recommend to everyone. Even if camping isnt your thing this has just the right amount of creature comfort to put you at ease.

We stayed for four nights with our 4 year old. We were lucky with the weather and the surroundings are perfect for a peaceful, quiet getaway in nature. The tent is comfortable and well equipped, with gas heater and gas rings for cooking- the hosts kindly changed our ice packs every day so we were able to keep milk, butter etc cool. There is also a barbecue and fire on site. There is a toilet and wash hand basin in a little shed next to the tent, and an outdoor shower that’s lovely and hot! The deer were in and out of the field every day and were lovely to see. As well as buzzards, pheasants, owls and woodpeckers that were could hear or see every day. Nearby Charmouth was great for fossil hunting and Lyme Regis and Beaminster lovely to visit. We have fallen in love with Dorset and hope to stay in the tent again soon. Our little boy cried saying goodbye to it this morning!

A lovely few days at the safari tent, such an an amazing spot, very peaceful. Despite the weather there was lots to do and keep the kids entertained. The tent was so warm and cosy with everything you could possibly need. The deer and horses were an added bonus, so beautiful. Thanks Lesley and Julian.
