Hetty is a beautiful Shepherds hut with comfortable standard double bed, seating area and electricity. Set in her own area of Arbons Barn Camping she overlooks grape vines, fields and our pet goats and shares a toilet, shower and basin with the small friendly site. A fridge/ freezer is available and parking is close by. We have a large bbq/fire pit for rental and sell charcoal and logs. Many walks and a pub ten minutes walk away (weekdays). Patchy mobile reception if you fancy solitude! Compact but comfortable. The ideal countryside retreat!

our second time staying in Hetty as a couple and we had an amazing time. not only is the Sheppard pod beautiful and so nicely presented but the grounds and area are just so calm and peaceful. We soaked in the feeling of being close to nature with an peaceful picnic and by doing yoga near the trees. would definitely stay again!

we had a last minute stay for a night and it was wonderful. weather wasn't great but it was amazing to be out in the countryside, listening to bird song and hearing the rain drops. would definitely recommend a stay!

Dean and Karen were wonderful hosts. We had a fab stay and would come back. Immediately, we were greeted by their friendly faces and Karen was responsive the whole time. Recommend!

We are situated on a small country Lane mostly surrounded by fields. There are lots of walks of varying lengths and a pub with great food just ten minutes walk away (weekdays only). Bury st Edmunds is five miles away and we are surrounded by interesting historical towns. Newmarket is a stones throw away and they hold great events as well as the races.

出行信息

Parking is on our large driveway. Should you arrive by motorcycle we will provide a block for you to stand your bike. Cycles can be securely stored in an outbuilding or under cover. There are many cycle routes in the area. Buses are available from Arbons Barn but on school days only. Further into the village is a bus stop that provides a more comprehensive service. Taxis need to be pre booked to come to us.
