This was our second stay at this cabin, and it was just as great as the first! It is such a tranquil and relaxing place to get away from it all.

Very pleasant stay, w/beautiful surroundings, great communication from the owner, and water access (common area boat ramp and small walk-out dock to shallow waterfront[1-2 foot depths]). Not really easy access to swim - best bet is to carefully jump in from the rocky shoreline, or walk in from the adjacent boat ramp, though both are slippery. Dirt road access (few miles long) which had several "pot holes", so you're better off arriving in a SUV or a vehicle with some ground clearance. Boat rentals are at the east end of the lake (Merrill's) - about a 20-minute boat ride, or 30-minute car ride. Large grocery store about a 25-minute drive from the camp. Closest Walmart or Target is a 90-minute drive (Bangor), so bring what you need, or what you can buy in a grocery store or local hardware store. Great instructions from owner. A few minor issues: some dust/discarded tissue under the beds; only one hand towel in bathrm; one bath towel/guest; one fan and one stove burner inoperative.

Nice cabin nestled in the woods on the shore of Sebec Lake. Nice area, everything was in order. We had a great time hunting birds all day, comfortable place to crash at night. I would return.

We only stayed for a few nights in this cabin, but what a beautiful spot! Peaceful and tranquil, right on the water to enjoy gorgeous sunrises. The house was clean and exactly as pictured. Listen to the hosts when they tell you to bring everything you need! It’s a ways down a dirt road, and we didn’t want or need to leave once we were there. We had an excellent experience at this remote cabin on the lake!
