Its in its own little village with Bellenden Rd a stone's throw away where you can buy a range of delightful fresh produce, drinks & coffee etc. Maxted Road is perfectly positioned for the abundance of grocery shops, cafes, bars and fantastic restaurants within East Dulwich, Dulwich Village and Peckham. FOOD AND DRINK Peckham has a number of popular independent restaurants, bars and cafes, including Forza Wine, Levan, Artusi and Kudu. Larger establishments such as Frank’s rooftop bar, Peckham Levels and the Bussey Building attract crowds from across the city. Equally close is Lordship Lane, home to a vast number of local favourites, including Mons Cheesemongers, Moxon’s Fishmongers, Bon Cafe and a wonderful deli, Jones of Brockley. GREEN SPACES The green spaces of Goose Green, Peckham Rye Park, Nunhead Cemetery and Dulwich Park are within easy reach, and nearby Dulwich Leisure Centre has a public swimming pool and gym. There are tonnes of yoga/ fitness/ Pilates studies like Pilates on Bellenden Road and Oru Space on Lordship Lane. TRAVEL For transport, Peckham Rye and East Dulwich railway stations are equidistant; both run direct services to London Bridge, the former in seven minutes and the latter in 15 minutes. Peckham Rye Overground runs services to Shoreditch High Street and Dalston Junction in one direction and Clapham Junction in the other. Connections to the Jubilee Line can be reached at Canada Water in 10 minutes and the Northern Line at Clapham High Street in 11 minutes. Peckham Rye also has direct trains to Victoria in 10 minutes, Blackfriars in 15 minutes and Kings Cross St Pancras in 24 minutes. There are tonnes of Human Forest and Lime bikes nearby for easily cycling. PLANTS Beautiful plants in every room, an array of books and trinkets and artwork and mirrors on all the walls make it a hugely unique place in one of the coolest trendiest and happening neighbourhoods in London. It’s a total gem - you won’t forget! THE SPACE The place is MUCH bigger than it looks in pictures - the pictures really don't encapsulate the space. I can't seem to photograph it to show the space but it is very spacious with high ceilings and lots of chill spots! Most reviews reflect on how much bigger it is then they expected. OUTDOORS/ SUN It has the most beautiful sun-trap terrace which catches the morning sun and you can watch purple/orange pink sunsets from it too.
