We had a wonderful stay here and made many happy memories. The place is beautiful inside and there are great views on the roof terrace. We got lots of use out of the pool and barbecue, and there are restaurants and shops in close walking distance. Recommend.

This villa was perfect for our 1-week stay in Crete. Its spacious, comfortable, and has nice outdoor spaces - bbq, pool, roof terrace. It’s a small walk to the small town of Plaka which has some restaurants. Just a short 10 minute drive to a bigger town Almyrida where we went to the beach and some restaurants in town. The host responded quickly to questions and responded to our needs. I recommend the Villa and freelance villas organization is great! They provide an online house guide and Crete guidebook when you book which helped us throughout our stay!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour de 5 jours dans la belle villa. Tout d'abord, un excellent accueil par la femme de ménage qui nous a proposé de nous installer alors que nous étions arrivés 2h avant l'heure prévue (nous voulions juste repérer les lieux, puis revenir, mais elle venait de terminer le ménage). Villa très bien équipée, nous n'avons manqué de rien. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié le calme et la propreté de la maison, les espaces, la piscine, le jardin bien entretenu, les différentes terrasses, la grande proximité des tavernes et de la supérette du village. Un charme certain ! Le village Almiryda, à côté, est très agréable pour ses plages et ses restaurants. Possibilité de louer un bateau. Enfin, nous étions ravis de rencontrer le propriétaire Giorgios, lors de notre départ.

The villa was perfect for five adults, it was enough spacious. The situation is great, it´s near nice tavernas and good supermarkets. The surrounding is ideal, very local. The view from upper terrace is awesome to the mountains and to the sea. We enjoyed our staying a lot - thank you!

We had a wonderful week here. The pool was great, and the villa was clean and spacious. Air conditioning in the bedrooms was helpful and it wasn’t too noisy. There were sufficient mini markets within a 5 minute walk, as well as some lovely restaurants- we recommend Elpis. Down the steep hill, about a 15 minute walk, is the beautiful beach, more lovely restaurants on the seafront, pharmacy and cafes. There are some excursion companies along the front top offering boat trips etc. The bus stop and place to buy bus tickets is also located close to the beach, with returns to Chania costing about 5 euros. There is also a friendly taxi rank that will take you back up to villa for 8 euros if you don’t fancy the steep walk back! Taxis from Chania airport was only 70 euros to the villa. However if you’re travelling in a group larger than 4 you’ll need to book a transfer as they don’t have larger vehicles at the airport taxi rank.
