My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed staying at Brud’s place. It was the perfect location to explore 3 lighthouses, which we did in one day!

This place is a gem, in large part because of how friendly and welcoming Brud was. I felt right at home and so enjoyed my time. This feels like how airbnb used to feel when it started: friendly hosts who welcome you in and make you feel like you gained a friend by the time you left. I will definitely be back - it's not an overstatement to say I really cherished my stay.

Brud’s place had everything we needed for our stay in Maine, and more. It was in a beautiful location, easy to find, and convenient to Rockport, Rockland and Camden. Brud was friendly, helpful, and a great communicator. It was nice having two levels. Just be aware that the stairs to the upper level, like most older homes in Maine, are steep. However, there is a very sturdy railing and handholds so it was no problem. I would definitely recommend Brud’s place for a stay in Maine.
