Delightful place with spectacular view. The outside area was beautifully set up and the landscaping offered abundant flowers and interesting yard art everywhere. Inside was also completely furnished for enjoyable comfort. Many amenities provided. If you get a chance to stop here it’s well worth the trip!

After our recent retirement from public education, my husband and I were in dire need of respite from the chaos of our crazy lives. Berit's Place was the ideal escape for this, and Kurt and Marie were the perfect hosts. Although we had plans to visit many different places in and around Redding, we cut the list short so that we could simply relax and rejuvinate on the patio by the pool with its gorgeous view. The apartment was cozy and tastefully decorated, and the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our own meals (although Kurt and Marie provided a list of restaurants in case we chose to eat out). The door of the apartment read "Berit's Place," but to us it looked like it said "Berit's Peace." This is exactly how we felt during our 3-day stay - so relaxed and at peace. We will definitely stay again the next time we come to Redding. Thank you, Kurt and Marie. What a treat!

Without a doubt, the nicest Airbnb we have ever stayed in! I can’t say enough. The bedroom was roomy, with a super comfortable bed, and separated from the family room with a door so one person can get up and go read or watch TV. The bathroom is great with plenty of counter space, a double headed shower, and nice amenities. The kitchenette had coffee and coffee maker, silverware, a bagel and chocolates. Some really nice touches throughout. There were three super cozy throw blankets to curl up in. The outside view is absolutely spectacular! The gardens, pool, and waterfall are super peaceful and impeccably maintained. You could see all the way to the snow capped mountains. We sat outside and ate lunch several times. Marie and Kurt came out once or twice and said hello, but gave us our privacy. They are lovely people and made sure we had everything we needed. There is plenty of parking. The neighborhood is gorgeous and safe. We plan on returning next year. It definitely felt like home!!!

Everything was so nice. Very peaceful and relaxing after a long day of driving. Loved sitting in the patio in the evening. Pool, view of the hills and beautiful sunset. Marie and Kurt were very welcoming.
