Excellent accommodation, exactly as described. Plenty of equipment in the kitchen, range of books to read, games to play etc. Close to town centre and suited us well.

This was the third time we have stayed and it just seems to get better each visit. There are new carpets throughout which are beautifully soft and all of fixtures and fittings both function perfectly and are of good quality. Everything is spotlessly clean and everything you could need is there. We still love the porch, it’s great if you come back in wet or muddy clothing or if like us you have a dog. It’s secure and you can leave all of your shoes, boots and jackets there to dry. The tv has the normal Freeview channels but also streaming catch-up channels, you are never lost for something to watch. We have been to Aberfeldy several times and eaten in the Schiehallion before, the food there this time was superb. We also had a great takeaway from Chillies Indian and another from KB Italian kitchen just for a change, both were great. We are already booking our next visit for later this year, you can’t get a better recommendation than that.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt im Haus von Vivien. Alles war vorhanden, die Lage des Hauses war zentral und alles gut erreichbar. Wir würden das Haus nochmals buchen und kann dies nur empfehlen.

We had a lovely October break at the Byre in Aberfeldy, highlights including a visit to the distillery, a walk up the Birks, and the local shops and cafes in the area. Unfortunately our planned riverside walks had to be suspended due to the path being underwater, but that's no surprise following the torrential rain before we arrived. The accommodation was very clean and tidy, just right for a family of 4. Our young daughters very much enjoyed playing the piano to the best of their ability, while I enjoyed a coffee/beer in the lovely garden :-) It was warm and toasty too, the electric stove in the living room being particularly effective. Thoroughly recommended to all.

The cottage is very comfortable and cosy, with everything you need. The location is great - shops, cafes etc are all walkable - and it’s a fantastic base for exploring the area. We would happily stay here again.
