Our listing is beyond family friendly, we specialize in families, doing everything we can to make travel with kids more comfortable! From boosters, bottle warmers, changing tables and baby wipes, we go way beyond a pack-n-play (although we have one of those too!) Our home is: close to downtown, close to parks, loved by parents and kids, great for groups or couples, with hosts who truly love to help. Its 20 min or less to everything, 3 min to coffee AND absolutely adorable inside and out. *This property is professionally cleaned!* Let's introduce you to your new home base!! Our space serves primarily families, but of course can be a perfect home base for anyone. As a family who travels a lot ourselves, we are very aware of what things truly make the difference when you are away from home with your kids in tow. We have spaces to play in, spaces to relax in, books to read to your kids at bedtime, amenities for babies, dishware your kids can use stress free (in a cabinet they can reach themselves!), a bottle warmer for the smallest kids, and free access to a washer and dryer for doing a quick load of family laundry, complete with unscented, baby friendly, laundry detergent. We have seating at the table for babies, toddlers and larger kids who still need a little boost. You will also find a pack-n-play with a clean sheet and a changing table with a fresh clean cover available to every guest! When it’s time to rest at the end of the day, click on the white nose machine for added soothing. The space includes 3 closed bedrooms. The first boasts a king sized bed, the second has a bunk bed with a double bunk on the bottom and a single bunk on top. These first 2 rooms are located side by side and near the front of the home, making it perfect for parents who might want to stay in a room close to your children. The 3rd bedroom (the master) offers a luxurious queen sized bed as well as a TV sitting area and elliptical exercise machine that guests are free to use. This room is separated from the other two and makes a great spot for grandparents! While the home does not have central air, all three bedrooms have window air conditioning units as well as ceiling fans for your comfort. There are 2 bathrooms. One at the front of the home and one near the back. Both bathrooms have a shower and bathtub combination. The main living room/ dining room area is welcoming and light filled, with the ability to seat 6 at the dining table. (Even 8 people fit without much of an issue) The kitchen is very well equipped and includes its own small dining nook and 4 chairs. You will find everything needed to make a meal including a standing mixer, bullet blender, soda stream and Nespresso machine. The property has a front and back yard which are available to guests, including dining area and lounge area with a gas fire table that works beautifully for roasting marshmallows, and a BBQ. You will also find a children’s play structure in the back, and in the front we have more seating as well as an elephant tire swing for the kids, a climbing dome and a nature tic-tac-toe board. There is no parking on the property, our own family vehicle (a grey Mazda 5) will remain parked in our small driveway, located off the alley to the side of the home, while we are out of town. It should not impact your stay or use of the property at all. You will find lots of free street parking immediately in front of our home, allowing easy access to the front door. We request all guests use street parking and not park in the alley. And lastly we would love for our guests to know that this property feels so much like home because, well, it is our home! This is not one of the many properties that is used only as a rental. This is actually our primary family residence for most of the year! We love to travel, and we love to share our space while we are away. We hope you will feel welcome here.
